Look Out! The Dodge Viper Is Taking Over The Competition.

Posted in Dodge, Viper with tags , , , on April 25, 2011 by Kaitlyn

Dodge Viper Look Out! The Dodge Viper Is Taking Over The Competition.Entering the automobile world in 1992, the Dodge Viper of Dodge Dealer Tuscaloosa, has had undergone many changes as well as many obstacles. This year, 2006, the Dodge Viper is already on its third generation of vehicles. This time around, the vehicle is introduced as an all-new coupe. You can also find this vehicle at places like Dodge Dealership Torrington.

Dan Knott, the director of Street and Racing Technology (SRT) for the Chrysler Group states, “Demand for a Dodge Viper Coupe started the day we introduced the Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible for 2003. The all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe is a natural evolution of the heritage of the Dodge Viper, and gives enthusiasts exactly that they’re looking for in the ultimate American sports car.” He also adds, “Dodge Viper SRT10 customers want to go beyond the level of the regular enthusiast, to the level of outrageous performance. Our all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe gives our customers that performance in a stunning new package.”

The most obvious change for this new vehicle of Dodge Dealership Fort Worth, is that it now holds the aerodynamic “double bubble” roof. This roof holds a unique shape that provides a smooth airflow over the vehicle as well as assists in accommodating a large amount of space inside. Other new things for this new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe include the door glass, the rear quarter panels, the integrated rear spoiler, and the wraparound tail lights. It is very much similar to the original Dodge Viper GTS coupe’s look but this new one owns up to a more contemporary flair. Also added in are a set of unique alloy wheels which measures 18 inches for the front end and some 19 inches on the back.

The 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe holds an 8.3 liter all-aluminum motor that works with ten cylinders. This engine has the power to produce some 500 horsepower and around 525 pound feet of torque. To help it all up is a six speed manual transmission.

Dodge Viper Interior Look Out! The Dodge Viper Is Taking Over The Competition.Backing up Knott’s statement regarding this new vehicle, Trevor Creed, Chrysler Group’s senior vice president for design exclaims, “It was important for us to sustain the emotion in the design. We wanted the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe design to include a nod to the original Viper GTS coupe, but in a contemporary way. The Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe owner is often a racer, and the car has to scream that, even when it’s idling at the stoplight. The bottom line is that the new Dodge Viper SRT10 coupe’s design says a lot about its unique character, and the car’s performance is the payoff.”

To continue Dodge’s tradition of offering unique and excellent in performance vehicles that is outstanding in its value and class, auto parts companies like Car Parts Rush offers top of the line Dodge parts. The customer has a choice from a vast array of auto parts and accessories. It offers new and used Dodge body parts, body kits, performance parts, and Dodge accessories among many others.

Challenger Outshines Wrangler In Safety!

2010 Dodge Challenger Red 300x225 Challenger Outshines Wrangler In Safety!

The 2010 Dodge Challenger, which can be found at Used Cars PA, was ranked number 3 out of 4 Muscle Cars.  The Challenger SE comes with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that generates 250 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 250 pound feet of torque at 3,800 rpm.  Now the more powerful R/T comes equipped with a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine that creates 372 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 401 pound feet of torque at 4,400 rpm.

The Dodge Challenger at Dodge Dealers Dallas, comes with a pretty basic protection package.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and a lifetime powertrain warranty.  This vehicle also did very well on safety tests as well.  It received five stars in both front and side crash tests and four stars in rollover tests.  The standard safety features on the Challenger includes advanced multi-stage airbags and supplemental side curtain airbags.

Now if you are looking for something a little bigger and more outdoorsy, then you should check out the 2011 Jeep Wrangler, which is currently b2011 Jeep Wrangler 300x211 Challenger Outshines Wrangler In Safety!eing sold at Jeep Executive Dealer.  The two-door Wrangler comes with a 3.8 liter 202 horsepower V6 engine.  They say the V6 has enough power to pull the Wrangler over obstacles, but it sluggish in acceleration from 0 mph and highway driving.  The four-door Wrangler Unlimited models get the sam V6, but it has a little more power.

The Wrangler comes with a basic protection plan as well.  It consists of three years or 36,000 mile basic warranty and five year or 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.  The 2011 model has yet to be tested but the federal government gave the 2010 two-door model and the Unlimited model ok scores on crash tests.  They received five stars for driver and passenger protection in frontal crash tests.  The two-door Wrangler only received three stars for rollover ratings while the Unlimited model received four stars in this test.  The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2011 Wrangler it’s highest rating of “Good” in frontal offset crash tests, but received the lowest score of “Poor” for two-door models without the side airbags in side impact crash tests.  Standard safety features include; anti-lock brakes, advanced multi-stage front airbags, Electronic Roll Mitigation, an Electronic Stability Program and Traction Control.

Both are nice vehicles to own, as different as they are.  It seems to me that the Wrangler still has some safety features they need to work out by next years lineup.  The Challenger didn’t slack on any safety features, atleast not as much as the Jeep Wrangler has.  Always find out what safety features are installed into a vehicle prior to purchase.  It might just save your life.

All Around Dodge!

Posted in Dodge with tags , , , on March 30, 2011 by Kaitlyn

Dodge Emblem All Around Dodge!If you are a car fan you know that part of the fun of following the market is examining new models as they enter the showroom. There is just something special about a new car: the smell, the look, the price tag! For some 17 million American drivers a new car is in their future, while many others opt for the used car market. Some of the cars on the market today are hot, hot, hot! Let’s take a look at several new and future offerings from Dodge. You can check out some of the new Dodge models at places like South Carolina Dodge Dealership or even UT Dodge Dealership.

Thanks in part to new ownership a fresh infusion of great looking Dodge models, even the ones found at Used Car Dealer Greenwood, have hit a showroom near you. Additional models are soon to appear and the makeover that Dodge has been receiving is nothing less than astounding. Here are some of my favorites:

Who said that a station wagon should resemble a family hauler? The Magnum sure doesn’t. With an intimidating grille and a rakish exterior, the Magnum is a true man pleaser while also giving women a bit extra room in the back to haul stuff. Throw in a Hemi and the Magnum truly rocks!
Okay, so the new Charger has four doors. Well, you can’t have everything. You have macho looks, a powerful engine, and a car that is certain to compete with anything that Japan or Germany throws its way. Word has it that Daimler Chrysler is considering a coupe version. Now, wouldn’t that be cool!

Dodge Car All Around Dodge!Bye, bye Neon. The Neon served Dodge well, but it isn’t in the same caliber as the Caliber. Pun intended. To be introduced in Spring 2006 as a 2007 model, the Caliber will have three engine choices: 1.8, 2.0, and 2.4 I4s, a continuously available trans axle, and all wheel drive. In addition, 2.0L diesel engines will be available outside of the North American market – why not here? – as Daimler Chrysler sets to introduce the Dodge name into new markets.

Other Dodge vehicles that are getting noticed include the Ram and Dakota pick up trucks, the Durango SUV and the soon to be introduced Dodge Nitro, the division’s version of the compact Jeep Liberty. Oh, yeah, who could forget the 510-hp V10 Viper? Can you say, Corvette beater?

One word you can’t associate with Dodge anymore is the word, “boring.” Exciting cars, trucks, and SUVs for a market craving these types of hot vehicles. I guess the “ram” insignia really does befit the name.

2011 Dodge Durango Review;

Posted in Dodge, Durango with tags , , on February 26, 2011 by Sully

2011 dodge durango crew 1 cd gallery 300x183 2011 Dodge Durango Review;

The 2011 Dodge Durango is another quality SUV release by Dodge and can be purchased from Dodge Dealers Tuscaloosa. The Dodge Durango took a two year break as Chrysler was restructured and a new design for the model was engineered. The new Durango is an excellent companion to the new Jeep Grand Cherokee and can be found at a Dallas Dodge dealership. The new Durango offers several features such two or four-wheel drive, seven seats, and a Hemi V-8 engine among others. Other vehicles with Hemi engines can be purchased or test driven at KS Dodge Dealers.

The new Durango is just as visually appealing as its predecessor and has an impressive assembly quality with its chrome trimmed interior and other features. The Durango is available with both V6 and V8 engine options, and the base engine is a V6 Pentastar engine with 290 horsepower. The engine has a torque peak at 4800 rpm. The Hemi V8 has 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque and offers faster acceleration. The fuel economy of the Duragno is still a relatively low 16 mpg in the city and 22-23 mpg on the highway for the V6 versions and 13-14 mpg in the city for the V8 model.

The Durango is a heavy SUV at 4955 pounds for the V6 model and 5200 to 5350 pounds for the Hemi V8 model, but features like a low tuned suspension and unibody architecture give the Durango a smooth car-like ride and compensate for the lower fuel economy. The steering of the Durango is comfortable and easily controllable and the model navigates high degree inclines and declines with great ease. The best part of the Durango is its low base price. The new Durango starts at only $30,045  at its base price and offers four different trim levels. The price is the most competitive feature of the new Durango, and Chrysler is likely to see many more sales for what it offers in this model.
